“ We went here with a group of ten friends. I called the day before and they were incredibly accommodating and willing to reserve a table for us. As an appetizer, we ordered the fried cheese curds. They were amazing and probably the best I've ever had. Light and fluffy breading; "like eating a baby angel," my son said. So of course we ordered two more baskets to share with our group! For entrees, I ordered the Yakitori chicken fried rice, and it was flavorful. My husband got the chicken tender basket. They had a nice selection of sauces to choose from to go with it. Friends at the table ordered the Beast Burger and said it was amazing. They would come back for it another time, they said. Really fun ambience, friendly servers...I highly recommend! Do check your bill before you go. There's a $2.50 service fee for using a credit card. They don't tell you about it, so you have to discover it. We paid in cash and the $2.50 was refunded to us. ”
“ Great local place and great location. Right downtown on Main Street. Nice, large outdoor patio with plenty of tables. Beer selection was below average, but some good local beers on draft. I had the steak tacos (forgot the name of them on the menu) and they were pretty good. Only complaint is the tortillas were a little hard, over cooked a little. ”
“ Honestly, if I could give this restaurant more stars, I think I would. I love the ambience of every aspect of this restaurant. The bar, the decor and interior seating, the absolute beautiful patio with festoon lighting and an outdoor bar. It is all perfectly Instagram worthy. Equally as impressive was the food. My favorite was the tuna tots, but these chicken tacos were delicious in their own right. I only wish they weren't as messy. The staff was attentive, gave great recommendations, and was very friendly. Make sure to check out this downtown Cedar Falls favorite. ”
“ My friend and I came today on a whim. The place was very busy but our servers were super attentive and sweet. Taylor almost also won the stein holding contest! The food was AMAZING! And came out way faster than we expected being how busy it was. The place was so cute, cozy and such a fun welcoming atmosphere. We definitely will be back sometime as there was plenty on the menu that looked delicious to try. ”
“ Great atmosphere, you can sit in or outside (great patio sitting downtown Cedar Falls) and food is eclectic and taste really good!! For starters they have AMAZING Cheese Curds OMG! Then their Buffalo Chicken Flat Bread was killer and then buddy got their tacos (again, they were really good)! ”
“ Nice outdoor spot in downtown CF! We enjoyed a great lunch on a Friday! Waitress was pleasant & attentive. We had the 1/2 & 1/2 which is always good. My Thai chicken flatbread was delicious! The accompanying corn bacon chowder was tasty! Filling! Friend's house salad was pretty & tasty. The 1/2 chicken sandwich was very good but small--more like 1/3rd. A great place to sit outside & enjoy the view! ”
“ Ok so George's is an awesome place. It has elevated food choices, great drinks, the food is cooked perfectly. The outside has a nice vibe. This is becoming my favorite restaurant because of all those things. It's better than when it first opened. The only downfall today was the choice of music. My background - Detroit club goer, love dance music, all kinds. Todays selection was Notorious B.I.G, P-Diddy, and other rap artists. We were sitting right under the speaker. I was not in the mood for swearing, misogynistic under tones, and inappropriateness - especially when it's coming at me at 2 in the afternoon while I'm trying to enjoy their more refined food- the 2 don't mesh - for me anyway. That's why I gave a 4. We had chicken salad and the avocado toast. Both are fabulous ”
“ Recently visited for a birthday brunch with 6. We were hoping to sit on the cool patio but it was rainy. It is a really stellar patio though and I bet it's great in the evenings. Most of us took advantage of the brunch menu, ordering Huevos, the breakfast burrito, and the Croque Madam. One diner did order the Buffalo Mac 'n Cheese. The Huevos was a veggie dish and was in a smallish bowl. The diner, who's a Huevos aficionado, said they were good but could have used some chorizo. The burritos, which did have chorizo, were a hit. They came with a pretty delicious salad side, too. I personally had the Croque Madam. I would definitely order it again. The egg was cooked perfectly. The bloody Marys were delicious! Truly. While I like a good garnish, sometimes it can be over the top. These came with a large olive and a pickled baby corn cob. They were rimmed with a salt/chili powder mix. Really good. The native Cedar Falls peeps said the beer selection was good too. I'll be back the next time I'm in town. ”
